    WORLD'S LARGEST MORTAR

    Mortar made of white marble Macael registered in the Guinness Book as the world's largest mortar with 4.5 mts. high and 37 tons in weight. Marble Mortar is a very popular item traditionally made by craftsmen of Macael.

    QUARRY

    With an area of over 6,600 hectares, it has two viewpoints: that of the quarries and Cosentino. In organized visits shown, among other things, the locations of Ridley Scott "Exodus" as formerly communicated by shells, or the chance to experience "in situ" process "zoblar" the marble is offered and using pinchotes and almaina.

    PARISH CHURCH SANTA MARIA DEL ROSARIO

    Rebuilt in 1992, it preserves the original Moorish tower of 1609 with his episcopal coat of s. XVII. The bell tower houses four bells, the oldest in the year 1682. It houses valuable pieces of the seventeenth century carvings Yaciente Christ, and the child Jesus that sustains the Virgen del Rosario; and an oil painting of La Purísima Concepción.
